22 DEC 2023, DAY 1 – JOHANNESBURG
Please check in at OR Tambo International Airport 4 Hours prior to departure. Please make sure your bags are tagged to Dubai, and you get both your boarding passes – Johannesburg Cairo and Cairo Dubai.
You will depart from Johannesburg on flight MS840 at 21:45 to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, please proceed immediately to the next boarding gate for your flight to Dubai.
23 DEC 2023, DAY 2 – DUBAI (Breakfast)
On arrival in Dubai, go through immigration, collect bags, and pass by customs. Come out in the arrival hall, where you will meet our representative, who will be holding a sign. You will be taken to the Hotel for check-in and free time.

On arrival in Cairo, meet our guide before immigration, who will assist you in completing the form for a free visa. Clear immigration, collect your bags, and pass through customs, and you will be transferred to the Hotel.

After breakfast, you will get picked up from the Hotel to embark on a tour, visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx, and Bazaar in the pyramids area.

After breakfast, please bring your luggage to the foyer and check out of the Hotel by 12:00. You will meet again at the hotel lobby at 17:30 to be transferred to the Cairo Airport for your departure flight back to South Africa MS 839 at 22:45. Check-in for your flight and proceed to boarding gate.

Please note that Egypt Airways’ international baggage allowance is 2pc at 23kg per piece, and hand luggage is 7kg at the time of advertising this package and is subject to change at any time. Please consult with your travel consultant before departure to ensure you have the updated info prior to traveling.
Please note that there is limited space on the coach. Sure Mithas Travel and our travel agent partners will not be responsible for any baggage lost or delayed by the airlines. Delayed baggage will be conveyed to you at your cost.
TIPS
Please budget $5 per person per day on tips.
Please tip the porters directly once they have brought your baggage to your room. Usually, the tip depends on the number of bags: $3 per bag.

Do carry some simple medication like Panado, Lomotil, Immodium, Flutex, etc.

The Yellow Fever vaccine is recommended.
HOTEL ROOMS
Kindly note that some hotels have roller beds in Triple and Quad Rooms.
Also, note that the Triple and Quad rooms are small, and difficult to move around the room with luggage. Check-in/check-out times will be 1400/1200noon
CURRENCY
Do NOT take travelers’ cheques. Carry only cash (Dollars, Euros, or Rands)
A maximum of R20 000.00 per person may also be taken in Rands cash.
CHILD TRAVELLING
Children under 18 years require an unabridged birth certificate when traveling abroad. If traveling with one parent or relative, they will need consent letters.

There will be no tour leader from South Africa on this tour. Our partners in Dubai and Cairo will meet you at the airport.
