PAYMENT

Deposit your payment of R15,000 per person into the account of Sure Mithas Travel immediately to secure your place. Balance of payment due 1st October 2024.

After the deposit has been made, please write clearly the name of each passenger travelling and your phone number onto the deposit slip and email it to info@mithastravel.co.za Very important! If the passengers name is not shown clearly on the deposit slip the payment will be impossible to trace and will not be recorded.

Cash deposits – if you deposit cash into our account, please add R1.80 for every R100 paid. This is the banks cash deposit fee.

Unfortunately, payments CANNOT be made with credit cards because all tickets are sent to us by the airline as a group in one email just prior to departure. We are fully aware that normally you get free travel insurance if you book with your credit card but we do not accept credit card payment.

Deposits only secure your seat in the group it does not secure the price, should there be any price increase you will be liable to pay the new increased price unless full payment has been received prior to the increase in price.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Send a clear scanned copy of your passport immediately so that we can hold your booking.

Please ensure that your passport does not expire within 6 months from the date on which you are travelling. You must have at least 3 blank pages in your passport next to each other. Temporary passports are not allowed.

IRAQ VISA

Please note that issuing of the visas is solely at the discretion of the Embassy. Any costs incurred due to the embassy refusing to issue a visa will be for the traveler’s own expense.

Iraq visas are now electronic visas. Please scan your required documents in PDF and email through to your consultant before 9th September 2024.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We do recommend you take out travel insurance, we do offer special rates for travel insurance of R760.00 per person

LUGGAGE

Please try to carry only two bags of 23 kg each and one hand-luggage 7 kg as there is limited space on the coach for luggage. Sure Mithas Travel and our travel agent partners will not be responsible for any baggage lost or delayed by the airlines. Delayed baggage will be conveyed to you at your cost.

TIPS

Please try to budget about R600- R800 per person for tips to drivers and tour guides. Groups from other countries tip a lot more and so drivers and guides expect the same from us.

Please tip the porters directly once they have brought your baggage to your room, usually tip depending on the amount of bags R10- R20 per bag.

MEDICATION

Do carry some simple medication like Panado, Lomotil, Immodium, Flutex and so on.

HOTEL ROOMS

Please note the package is based on standard room category at the hotel. Any requests for rooms to be located together or even on the same floor is subject to availability at the time of check in and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

CURRENCY

Do NOT take travellers cheques. Carry only cash dollars

SEATING

Please note that this package is based on block booking seats and the airlines charge an additional amount between R650 and R1400 per person per sector to pre-seat in advance. Please speak to your consultant should you wish to book a guaranteed seat.

CANCELLATIONS

Any cancellations made are subject to our standard terms and conditions as well as the fare rules as per the airlines and hotels policies which are usually very restrictive for group bookings. A 20% admin fee will be charged for any cancellations.
